Realme X50 Pro Player Edition with SDM 865 and 65W fast charging support launched

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition has been officially unveiled after days of teasers. It is Realme's first gaming smartphone (launched as an anniversary gift on the occasion of reaching the milestone of 35 million global users). The X50 Pro Player Edition is essentially a toned-down version of the Realme X50 Pro 5G, which is more focused at gaming and retains the latter's features, such as a higher refresh rate display and quad cameras. It is also powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor and supports 5G connectivity. Realme X50 Pro Player Edition will be offered in two colors - Light Speed Silver and Phantom Black. The phone has 128 GB storage, but three RAM versions, bringing three different price points - 6/128 GB phone will cost CNY2,699 ($380), 8/128 GB version is CNY2,999 ($420), and the 12/128 GB is CNY3,299 ($460).

The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition arrives with a 6.44-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and HDR10+ support. The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor as well. It runs Realme UI based on Android 10. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The handset comes with Dolby Audio and Hi-Red Audio on its speakers. It also features HyperBoost gaming mode, along with a tactile vibrator under the hood to give off subtle vibrations while playing a game. For its cameras, the X50 Pro Player Edition packs a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the smartphone comes with a set of two cameras residing in the punch-hole on the display. The front-facing cameras include 16-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary sensors. The smartphone also comes with a 4200mAh battery under the hood that supports 65W fast charging technology via the bundled charger. Realme CMO also introduced the X50 Pro Player cooling capabilities - it will have graphite sheets between the battery and the back panel to help dissipate the heat and provide optimal gaming.
