Huawei Ascend P7 Mini Hands On, Sleek and Stylish

Introduction:

Huawei is one of the largest Chinese manufacturers of the smart phones. Before this smartphone they already introduced variety of handsets for the users from high to mid and low range devices with variety of specifications. Huawei Ascend P7 mini is the successor of the predecessor named Ascend P7. According to the configuration the Ascend P7 Mini is less than Ascend P7 that means in working the current variant is a bit low in performance. Let us see what Ascend P7 Mini has in detail. The price of this variant still not known so it is hard to say either the handset is low than the previous one or costs more to the users but logically the handset must be cheaper than the original Ascend P7.

Design and Display

Ascend P7 Mini is one of the thinnest phones. According to the specifications it has a 130 x 65.5 x 7.5 mm dimensions which gives the slim and sleek look to the handset. Ascend P7 mini has a 115 grams weight which is quite heavy and not so easy to carry the handset normally in the pocket. The display size of this handset is 4.5 inches having 540 x 960 pixel resolutions which give the sharp and brighter light to the display while in use. The predecessor Ascend P7 has a 5.0 inch display and it weighs 124 grams which is quite light in comparison of the mini one.

Software And User Interface

Ascend P7 Mini runs Android v4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. The operating system is easy to use but this is a bit older than the new one. The early version Ascend P7 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is the latest one, but why company is using the older version in the current variant well we are unable to understand the logic behind this. Android operating system is easy and consumes less power while operating, that is why users easily use the interface without any difficulty. This operating system is beneficial for the handsets too because the operating system does not need the high configuration for running the interface and the applications. Users can enjoy the features of the handset easily with this operating system.

Processor And Memory

Ascend P7 is embedded with 1.2 GHz Quad-core with the smart combination of Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SOC (system on Chip). According to the specifications we assume this is the mid range handset and we can say that this processor and chip set combination is perfect for this handset. For running the graphic interface company provides the Adreno 305 GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) which is really helpful to run the complete graphical interface and provide better appearance to the display or currently running application. 1 GB RAM is built in from the company which gives the normal speed to the handset. 8 GB is on board memory which can be extended externally up to 32 GB. This is enough space for such types of mid range devices.

Camera

Ascend P7 Mini has an 8 mega pixel rear camera with 3264 x 2448 pixel density and 5 Mega Pixel secondary camera which is good enough for the handset. With this pixel density users can have fine quality images in their original colors. The camera has auto focus feature and LED light ability with these two features, users can capture the images of moving objects easily and LED light gives the support to the users to have the images in dim light with the same quality as in the bright. As comparing with the early version Ascend P7 has 13 mega pixel rear camera and 8 mega pixel secondary camera in this account also Ascend P7 takes the advantage.  

Battery

 Battery is the heart of any handset; users always prefer to have the long backup battery handsets. Ascend P7 mini has Li-Po 2000 mAh battery with this capacity users can enjoy the 2G, 3G and 4G network for enough time. The standby and talk time is not confirmed but we can assume that the battery gives enough and sufficient backup to the users and provides the maximum chance to use the handset features as maximum.
