Introduction
Now it is Microsoft producing Lumia and Nokia is the tale of bygone days and here is a low price device from Microsoft that is Microsoft Lumia 535 it has two versions, single Sim and dual SIM. It is made with the plastic body rounded corners and is in the market as an affordable smartphone in the category of flagship.
Design
The Microsoft Lumia 535 carries conventional Lumia design having 1 piece rear cover in verity of colors and has rounded corners and nice bezel surrounding the screen. The one piece rear cover can be changed with a new one having color of users own choice and users can have always a fresh look. Physically it is 140 x 72 x 8.8 mm, quite a reasonable size but not manageable single handed.
On the display side 5 inches screen size with the protection of Gorilla Glass 3 which is good enough for watching the video clips but this resolution is not high enough to give you good color effect. However considering the price factor the display is well balance. You can enjoy the video clips fairly well despite this slightly low performance in colors. It has good viewing angles and we find no problem in reading the screen from different angles.
It has some touch issues on the screen which Microsoft is aware and doing the fixes for this issue. There is no accuracy in its touch sensitivity, it performs differently than the touch desired, you touch one place and it reacts the other way.
Operating system
Microsoft Lumia 535 Windows 8.1 operating system and has latest updates like Denim. This operating system gives a pleasant look on the display with the Denim update and presents the icons in tile shape.
Processor and Memory
Microsoft Lumia 535 and Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual is powered with 1.2GHz Quad core processors and, Snapdragon 200 chipset and Adreno 302 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It runs Windows 8.1coupled with Lumia Denim and carries 8 GB on board memory which can be extended up to 128 GB with microSD card. These specifications of processor and memory are sufficient for smartphone of this category and this size of display.
Battery
Microsoft Lumia 535 and Lumia 535 dual both are energized with 1905mAh battery which provides the sufficient and provides the half day backup to the smartphone and users can use the mobile without facing the battery problem.
Price and Release Date
The mobile has a two version single SIM and Dual SIM and according to the feature both are available with a slightly different price. The single SIM available in $150 and the Dual SIM is available in $170.
Positive Points
It has low price and facility of changing multi color back covers, the operating system has the features of high end siblings, 5 mega pixel camera is also a fun point.
Negative Points
It has limited connectivity for example 4G LTE is missing, the processor is not very efficient and reacts very slow. The touch screen is not really efficient and is dull in look. It has touch screen issues which probably Microsoft is quite aware.
