Design & Display:
MOTO-E cannot claim to be champion of beauty and look. Though it resembles MOTO-G yet there are some differences between the two. It is made in reasonable size, easy to hold, plastic made, with curves. Its dimensions are 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3 mm (4.91 x 2.55 x 0.48 in), having screen size of 4.3 inches and resolution are 540 x 960 pixels. The Screen is capacitive touch screen, 16M colors. It has sharp and clear view on the screen and colors show bright and distinct.
It has moderate weight of 142 g (5.01 oz).The screen is protected Corning Gorilla Glass 3.it has changeable back casing. Dual SIM (Micro-SIM, dual stand-by), option exists. It is mid range set. Other features includes sound alert types; Vibration, MP3, WAV ringtones and has a loudspeaker.
Software and User Interface:
The device runs Android OS, V4 4.2 (KITKAT) operating system. The android OS 4.2 KITKAT not only made it a user friendly interface, infect user is appreciating the use of the operating system.
A user is maintaining and operating it in well balanced manner due to OS Android 4.2 KITKAT made it a reputable device, its sensors are Accelerometer, proximity features. Even though there’s a fair amount of responsiveness with the on-screen keyboard.
It still proves to be challenging because of the cramped confines of the layout, the buttons themselves are rather tiny. On screen keyboard is efficient and responsive but it is so tiny and congested that user does not feel comfortable.
Processor and Memory:
Going with the current trend the Motorola Moto E uses standard and latest components. It has Dual core 1.2 GHZ, Cortex A7 processor with chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 as a built-in chipset. This processor, as seen through the experience does not with stand pressure and cannot efficiently handle the task having intensive material and cannot be termed as ‘powerhouse’.
The next important component GPU is 302 Adreno features. The set has a 1 GB RAM and 4GB internal memory extendable with MicroSD card up to 32 GB. This seems to be reasonably enough for an average user; although half the memory is consumed by the software. However this is compensated by external memory.
Camera:
The experience has proved that its camera is not really very efficient and doesn’t meet user expectation. However compare to MOTO-G & MOTO-X it captures the image rather quickly.
It is equipped with camera of 5 mega pixel with 2592 х 1944 pixels. Its features Geo-tagging, Touch Focus and has video capability of 854 x 480.However the camera has efficient enough with to satisfy the expectation of a common user.
It is impressive and Non-removable Li-Ion 1980 mAh battery, and its time period and back up is excellent and the battery life is also good. The battery carries good reputation and battery test it proves efficient 8 hours, 8 minutes. It gives energy to the set for two days under normal usage and conditions which is quit commendable. We can say the weak point it has that the battery is non removable
Extra Features
Two new features not present on previous Motorola Android phones stand out here. First, there’s Motorola Migrate, which is a utility tool that helps to transfer data form an old phone to the Moto E. Obviously, it’s nothing spectacular in the greater scheme of things, but for first time Android users, it’s a feature that’s appreciated. Secondly, the Motorola Alert app helps to alert certain people to our whereabouts. For example, the “follow me” function sends out periodical texts to specified emergency contacts alerting them about our location.
Motorola migrate, it is a useful tool to transfer data from one phone of Motorola to Motorola-E. The users find it quite interesting and useful.
The second important, interesting and very useful feature incorporated in Motorola-E is “Motorola Alert application”. It keeps sending your location to your contacts either by text or by some other alert method.
This seems to be very helpful in a way that your emergency contact are aware of the location and simultaneously it is equally harmful if somebody is surveilling and following you.

Price:
Its moderate price, 130$ is likely to grip the market for much longer time.
This may not be the best set in the market but it has an ideal balance of capabilities and price.
It is affordable by everyone. The expectations of average user are fairly well satisfied and generally the features of the set are enough to keep a user busy.
It performs its primary phone functions well and apparently there should be no complaining reason against this set. Having smartphone experience in 130$ is not bad. Hopefully the set will stay long in the market.
