Sony Xperia T3 Hands On, Smart Phone With Smart Features

Introduction

Sony is the name of the best electronics manufacturer and they try to provide the economical and best electronic goods to  the users. Recently Sony has launched the complete range of smartphones and tablets to the users from high to low range with varying  specifications. This is the time for another smartphone from Sony named Xperia T3. This is the new member of Xperia family and the successor of Xperia M2 and Xperia Z2. The handset almost gives the impression and looks like previously lunched Xperia T2 Ultra but  it  is more compact then the previous. Xperia T3 comes with some new changes and expected to be in the hands of the users soon. Sony declares this handset to be the thinnest smartphone and is a mid range smartphone.

 Design And Display

It is a new handset and has new design features with proportionate sizes and rounded corners in metal frame in  the bright colors. Although it bears resemblance with Xperia T2 Ultra yet it is more compact. The dimensions of the handset measure  150.7 x 77 x 7 mm, means this is slim in design and the weight of the handset is 148 grams which is less in the comparison  with  Xperia T2 Ultra that weighs 172. 4 grams which is 22 grams heavier than the successor. The display type of both handsets are same. Both handset made with  IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen but they both have a difference in screen size. Xperia T3 has a 5.3 inches display having 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions which is quite sufficient and provide the better display quality to the users. The earlier handset T2 Ultra has a 6 inches display with the same resolutions. In this screen account the Xperia T2 Ultra gets the plus point because of the large screen.

 Software And User Interface

Like others Sony Xperia T3 runs the latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. This is one of the popular and easy operating systems for the mobiles. With this operating system users can enjoy  all the features of the handset without any problem. The handset works efficiently and there is no question for the interruption in the interface nor getting hanged because it consumes minimum power in  running the interface and applications properly  while operative.

Processor And Memory

Sony Xperia T3 is equipped with 1.4 GHz  Quad-core Cortex-A7  processor with combination of Qualcomm MSM8928-2 Snapdragon 400 (D5103/D5106)/ Qualcomm MSM8228 (D5102) chipset pairing Adreno 305 GPU for better graphic interface. Quad core processor and Qualcomm chipset give fast working ability to the smartphone. Xperia T3 provides 1GAB RAM. The handset has a 8 GB on board memory, can be extended up to 32 GB via micro SD card. T2 Ultra and Xperia T3 are same in processor and memory. According to  the hardware configuration both handsets work in same speed .

Camera

Camera is the main feature in any handset. Sony Xperia T3 has an 8 mega pixel rear camera with 3264x2448 pixels resolutions for better photography and gives the sharp images with their true colors. The rear camera has autofocus ability to capture the moving objects without any problem with this feature users can get the photograph during driving or playing any game. LED flash is another feature, users can take the shorts in dim lights as good as in the bright. The T3 is equipped with 1.1 mega pixel secondary camera for video calling. This camera is low in density but it is quite enough for these types of mid range handsets. Xperia T2 Ultra again takes the plus marks because the handset has a 13 mega pixel rear camera and 1.1 mega pixel  secondary camera which is not enough in fact good for these types of  mid range handsets.

Battery

Xperia T3 is energized with Non-removable Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery  and gives good results;  it has standby time of 639 h on 2G network and  688 h on 3G. it provides talk time up to 12 h 46 min on 2G network and 14 h 47 min on 3G. On the contrary Xperia T2 Ultra has Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery with standby time for 1071 h on 2G network and 1046 h on 3G. It has talk time for 14 h for 2G network and  24 h on 3G. the comparison shows better results in case of Xperia T2.

Available colors

The handset is available in plastic colors like purple, black and white. This makes it colorful and add some attraction in choice.
