Xiaomi Mi4 Hands On, Successor of Mi3 Flagship

 Xiaomi is the latest manufacturer of smartphones and phablets in China. Previously the officials confirmed the existence of Xiaomi Mi4. The new upcoming handset of Xiaomi. This is the successor of the predecessor name “Mi3”. The handset recently takes the official placement in China. Mi4 comes with many changes and makes the better debut. Design and Display

The handset is big in size according to the current tradition. The handset is the perfect piece of art. Xiaomi Mi4 has a shinny plastic back with different patterns such as marble, fabric, wood and bamboo and the side bezel is made up with stainless steel. This combination of plastic and steel gives the decent look to the handset. According to the measures the handset dimensions are 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9 mm which means the handset is not too thick. The handset carries 149 grams weight which is well enough for the large size handset. Now is the turn of handset screen and its resolution. The handset screen is made up with IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. The screen size is 5 inch having 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The resolution is suitable according to the screen size. Users can use the screen with all of its brightness in dim light as well as under the bright light.

Xiaomi Mi4 follows the tradition; like others the handset also runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The company provides complete Android interface to the users. This is the light weight operating system which users can use easily and it consumes low power for working so its increase the battery life of the handset.

 The handset is packed with good configuration. The handset is embedded with 2.5GHz Quad Core Krait 400 processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset which makes the perfect combination and for the graphics interface company placed Adreno 330 GPU in the handset which performs well and handles all graphic tack efficiently. 3 GB RAM and 16 GB or 64 GB on board memory is offered by the company. Users have a complete choice to perform multi task and once, download movies and music and run the large game files according to their taste. They did not face any sort of storage problem due to RAM and on board memory options with all these good configuration the handset has one drawback; there is no card slot present in the handset for increasing the external memory. Users are restricted here and they are unable to increase the memory of the handset externally.

 The handset has a good camera configuration. The Mi4 has a 13 mega pixel rear and 8 mega pixel of front facing camera with 4128 x 3096 pixels density. These all are the smart features and users don’t need to effort manually. Manufacturers always try to place the powerful battery with good stand by and back up time in the handset to keep the handset on. Mi4 is energized with Non-removable Li-Ion 3080 mAh battery. Stand by and talk time of the battery is still not known. The handset is energized with a powerful battery but company still did a little mistake. The Xiaomi’s  place non removable battery in the handset. If any miss handling happens with the battery the users need to replace the whole handset instead of the battery. Most of the users don’t want to buy the handset that has a non removable battery. Although the handset has a lot to offer but maybe the non removable battery may affect the popularity of the handset amongst the users.
