The new flagship smartphone of the Chinese based company was unveiled last month at MWC 2016, the deadly combo of high-end specifications and unbelievable low price led the company to sell 70 million smartphones last year so same to expect from this model too, now have a look at the specifications of this phone:
Design and Display:
With sleek design of glass and metal, the phone has curved edges and multitouch bigscreen of 5.15’’ FHD display with resolution of 1080 × 1920 pixels talking about its body, the dimensions are 144.6 × 69.2 × 7.3 mm with pixel density of 428 pixels, there are two options for back covers; 3D ceramic and 3D glass back covers, phone with glass back cover weighs about 129 g while with ceramic back cover it weighs 139 g.
Camera:
Mi5 has rear camera of 16 MP with phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, SONY IMX298 sensor and 4-axis OIS, front camera is 4 MP.
Hardware and Processor:
The phone is loaded with Qualcomm 820 chipset and there are three editions of this model; the pro edition has 4 GB RAM, 2.15 GHz processor while the other two editions has 3 GB RAM and 2.15/1.80 GHz processor.
Operating System and Memory:
Mi5 has latest android OS Marshmallow v6.0.1 with MIUI7, the pro edition has 128 GB internal memory while the other two editions has 32/64 GB memory, there is no slot for micro SD card.
Battery:
Battery in Mi5 is 3000 mAH which is at its best to provide power for longer period of time; the major breakthrough is that 5 minutes of charging with Quick Charge 3.0 can make the phone work for 2.5 hours, the battery gets 80% charged merely in 1 hour.

The pro edition costs 413 USD, the Standard edition with 64 GB memory worth 352 USD and the 32GB Variant is the most affordable in all the three editions with price of 305 USD.
Pros and Cons:
List of Pros comes up with larger screen size of 5.15 inches, better camera of 16 megapixels, 4 axis image stabilization, finger print scanner on front, Quick Charger 3.0 and 3000 mAH battery with the last Pro as the low price for such high end specifications smartphone while on the other hand the phone is at disadvantage of lacking slot for external memory.
