We’ve already heard rumors of the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, but it seems like Huawei will launch the P40 Pro Premium Edition as a high-end version. This news comes to us from a reliable tipster @RODENT950 who shared a short tweet comparing the Huawei P40 smartphones to the Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup, which also mentioned the Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition as the high-end device.
The leakster also shared some renders of the P40 Pro Premium Edition, which are showing the Penta Camera setup on the rear panel. The Premium Edition is expected to have a periscope lens with 240mm focal length. The tipster hasn’t revealed any other information about the phone’s features. The Premium Edition is rumored to arrive with Sony’s 64MP primary sensor with 10x optical zoom, an 18mm ultra-wide lens, a dedicated macro shooter, and a 3D ToF sensor. According to the leaked renders, the upcoming flagship phone will offer a selfie camera setup on the front. On the other hand, various rumors suggest that the Huawei P40 will have a 52MP primary shooter and an 8MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom.
