Honor is confirmed to launch the Honor 30S smartphone on March 30. The successor of the Honor 20S phone will be the first-ever to feature the Kirin 820 5G-capable chipset designed for forthcoming upper mid-range Huawei and Honor phones. Now the Chinese firm has officially confirmed that the Honor Play 9A budget phone will also be announced through the same March 30 unveil event. Honor has revealed that endurance will be one of the capabilities of the Honor Play 9A. It appears that the smartphone will be arriving with a long-lasting battery.
The company also claimed that the smartphone is capable of delivering a battery life of 3 days in a single charge. Yet, the company hasn’t shared a lot of information about the device. However, an image leaked by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China depicts a phone with the triple camera setup. On the front, a single punch hole camera can be observed while the rear has three vertically stacked camera sensors and an LED flash right under the module. The back panel also features the AI branding for its camera technology and houses the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well for biometric security, with the Honor brand name being on the bottom. The Honor Play 9A is rumored to arrive with Helio P35 chipset and 4 GB of RAM.
