LG will soon be unveiling a brand new upper mid-range smartphone known as the LG Velvet on May 7th next month. Ahead of its launch, an alleged promo poster of the handset has been leaked, revealing most of its key specs. According to the leaked poster, the upcoming LG Velvet will come with an overall footprint measuring 167.1 x 74.0 x 7.85 mm and weigh approximately 180 grams. On the front side, the phone will have a dewdrop-notch display with considerable curves along its two sides. The dewdrop compartment is home to a 16 megapixels selfie sensor.

On the back, the LG Velvet has a so-called “raindrop” triple-camera setup paired with a LED flash. The camera sensors will allegedly include a 48 megapixels Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GM2 main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 5 megapixels depth sensor. Under the hood, it will be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 765 SoC which will allow the device to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. This will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Moreover, the handset will also be arriving with an in-display fingerprint sensor and carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. To keep its lights on, there will be a sizeable 4,300mAh battery with fast-charging and wireless charging support.
