OPPO has quietly announced a brand new entry-level OPPO A12s smartphone in Cambodia. This device, however, comes with pretty much the same design and specs as the current OPPO A12 except for its new Light Blue and Light Silver colorways. In Cambodia, the OPPO A12s is priced at $129 (INR9,720) for its 3GB+32GB model.

The OPPO A12s features a 6.22-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution. Its thin bezels allow the device to achieve an impressive 88.3% screen-to-body ratio. There is a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie experience. On the backside, the OPPO A12s has a pill-shaped camera setup that houses a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Moreover, there will also be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the OPPO A12s is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. As usual, its memory capacity could also be further expanded via a microSD card. To keep its lights on, the device draws power from a decent 4,230mAh battery that is capable of supporting hours of usage. It comes with a slightly older ColorOS 6.1 based on Android Pie.
