Oppo has quietly unveiled the Oppo A92s mid-range 5G smartphone in China today. The Oppo A92s 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G Chipset. OPPO is offering the A92s in two color variants – Black and White in China. The smartphone is already up for order in China and will go on sale starting April 29th.
The Oppo A92s has a 6.57-inch Full HD+ 20:9 LCD display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. There is a pill-shaped punch-hole for two selfie cameras (a 16MP sensor and a 2MP sensor with an ultrawide angle lens) at the top left corner of the display. The OPPO A92s has a squircle-shaped camera module on the back that houses four cameras – a primary 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication. Under the hood, the OPPO A92s is fueled by an octa-core Mediatek’s Dimensity 800 SoC which allows the device to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. The Chipset is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and you get 128GB of storage on the variants. There is a 4000mAh battery inside the phone with support for 18W fast charge. OPPO ships the phone with the Android 10 operating system.
