Samsung is on the strategy of providing security updates early. Just two days before ending August (30th Aug), the brand has begun rolling out September 2021 Security Update for Galaxy S20 FE. The LTE model only is receiving this via OTA. Brazil becomes the first to get a security patch. The update may probably bring Bedtime toggle mode. The roll-out weighs in at 747 MB and brings the firmware version G780GXXU3AUH5. Good news for S20 FE owners, as the device is also eligible for the upcoming OneUI 4 and Android 12 update.

You can choose from six vibrant colors of Samsung S20 FE. Those colors are Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, and Cloud White. The first thing we noticed when picking the S20 FE up is that it’s pretty lightweight at 190g. This is likely due in part to the build material – while the phone has a metal frame, the back is Samsung’s ‘glasstic’ or glass-plastic, which we have also seen in the Galaxy Note 20.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 out of the box. It is upgradable to Android 11 and OneUI 3.0 OS. Available in two chips, Exynos 990 SoC and Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, the latter costs more. 4G and 5G models of S20 FE are sold separately. You have two storage options, 6GB and 8GB. Storage pairs are 128GB and 256GB.

For photos and videos, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a triple rear camera setup that houses a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture as well as supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual-phase detection autofocus. You will also get a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and 123-degree field of view (FoV) and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. For selfie experience, the Galaxy S20 FE arrives with a 32-megapixel camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.0 aperture. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Powered by a 4,500mAh battery, the device offers non-stop watching and playing. The S20 FE allows 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
