Tecno, a budget smartphone brand has launched two new phones as part of its Camon series of photography focused phones called the Camon 15 and 15 Pro. Both of the new Tecno smartphones feature a quad primary camera setup on the back. While the Tecno CAMON 15 arrives with a punch-hole in the top-left corner of the screen to house the selfie camera, the CAMON 15 Pro features a pop-up selfie shooter mechanism. Both are among the most affordable devices to support a 48MP primary camera at the rear. Tecno has initially released the Camon 15, and 15 Pro smartphones in India, and both devices will go on sale from February 25th.
Tecno Camon 15
Starting with the Camon 15 first, the phone flaunts a 6.55-inch Dot-in display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. The handset boots HiOS 6.0.1, which is based on Android 10. The device comes with a 48MP primary camera on the back, which is aided by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP third sensor, and a QVGA fourth shooter.
The Ultra Night Lens of the phone has a DSP chip, f/1.79 large aperture, AI image synthesis, a 1/2-inch sensor, and 4-in-1 binning technology to provide clearer photos at night. For selfies and video calling, the handset has a 16MP snapper on the front with AI Beauty 3.0 mode. The Tecno Camon 15 offers a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage and packs 5,000 mAh battery.
Tecno Camon 15 Pro
The Tecno Camon 15 Pro has a 6.53 inch Full View display with full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels) and a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the Pro variant has a 2.35GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A smaller 4,000mAh battery fuels this one. For selfies, the smartphone comes with a 32MP pop-up camera that comes out of the top-right corner on top. The rear camera specs and software features of the Camon 15 Pro are similar to the standard version CAMON 15.
