Samsung officially launches Galaxy Tab Active 3

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is official and it is designed to be more durable and useful for field-based working staff. The latest ruggedized tablet from the company features significant upgrades over its predecessor (Galaxy Tab Active 2), including MIL-STD-810H certification for enhanced shock absorption, IP68 dust and water resistance rating, and the Exynos 9810 chipset. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 will be available in select markets starting today, including Europe and Asia. Samsung says the tablet will be available in some other regions as well "at a later date."

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features an 8-inch (1,920x1,200 pixels) display. The tablet runs Android 10, with a bunch of additional customizations for enterprise users. It is MIL-STD-810H certified, making it durable in extreme environments. The tablet is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance. It is powered by Exynos 9810 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. It has Wi-Fi and LTE support too. For photography experience, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, and a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls in the front. The tablet packs a 5050mAh battery that supports fast charging through USB and POGO pins. It includes Samsung DeX, ensuring dual-screen functionality. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has an Active Key on the side which allows instant access to frequently-used apps. It also comes with an IPS68 certified S pen.
