The Poco M2 Pro is now confirmed to make its global debut in India on July 7. The device was making a lot of buzz from the last few weeks and finally, Poco announced the launch date of the device. Unlike the Poco X2, this will most likely be an affordable, budget-friendly phone. Ahead of the launch, the upcoming phone has been spotted on Geekbench along with some interesting details.

Based on its listing, it can be confirmed that the handset will be powered by the new Snapdragon 720G SoC. This further corroborates earlier reports that the POCO M2 Pro could be the rebranded model of the Redmi Note 9 Pro which was announced in Europe last month. The Geekbench listing also reveals that the Poco M2 Pro will have 6GB of RAM and run Android 10 OS. In terms of performance, the device has achieved a score of 554 points and 1,757 points respectively for its single-core and multi-core tests. If the POCO M2 Pro is indeed a rebadged model of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, then we can expect it to feature a 6.67-inches FHD+ LCD display, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 64MP quad-cameras, 16MP selfie camera, up to 128GB storage, as well as 5,020mAh battery with 30W fast-charging. Furthermore, the device is also confirmed to come with 33W fast charging support.
