Lenovo has finally released an official confirmation on the arrival of the highly anticipated Lenovo Legion gaming phone. The company has been teasing the arrival of the gaming smartphone since December 2019. It is speculated that it could be the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform. Lenovo’s new Weibo post only confirms that the Legion Gaming phone will debut next month. It does not reveal the exact launch date. Lenovo’s Legion gaming phone is expected to compete with ROG Phone 3 gaming phone from ASUS that is also rumored to break cover in July.
The major attraction of the Legion gaming phone is that it will arrive with support for 90W fast charging. The OLED panel of the Legion gaming phone is expected to support up to 144Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 270Hz. The rear side of the device may sport a 64-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual-camera setup. The handset is said to come with a 20-megapixel side-mounted pop-up selfie camera. It will come with Android 10 OS and a gaming-grade Legion UI. Also, the phone will arrive with some other features like LPDDR5, UFS 3.0, 4,000mAh battery, advanced liquid cooling technology, dual speakers, and linear motor.
