The Samsung Galaxy A71 runs the company's latest One UI 2 layer. Google's newly Android 10 Operating system overlaid with One UI 2 is pre-installed out of the box. There is an under-display fingerprint sensor that is very fast and more secure than the Face Unlock. The customized Android 10 OS has a sidebar and a one-handed mode for easy use. In the sidebar, you can add favorite apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and more. There is a Google navigations option that offers two modes – Navigation buttons and Full-screen gestures. The Samsung A71 also has a Dark Mode and Always-On display feature. In the Always-On display feature, you can choose different clock styles and font colors.
On the other hand, the phone also allows setting the time schedule to enable the Dark Mode automatically. There are some essential apps installed in the Galaxy A71, such as FM Radio, Facebook, Video Player, Audio Player, Gallery, and File Manager. Moreover, the App Power Management feature also has few icons – Notifications, Adaptive Battery, Put unused apps to sleep, Sleeping apps, Auto disable unused apps, and Disabled apps. Switch down from the top; you'll get Wi-Fi, Mute, Bluetooth, Portrait, Flight Mode, Flashlight, Power Mode, Mobile Data, Blue Light Filter, Mobile Hotspot, Location, and Smart View icons.

Rear Camera Setup
One of the big improvements for the Samsung Galaxy A71 is its camera. Just like the Samsung A51, the Galaxy A71 has an L-shaped quad-camera setup on the rear panel for photography. The primary camera is a 64MP with f/1.8 aperture joined by a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, f/2.4 dedicated 5MP macro shooter, and an f/2.2 5MP depth sensor. The main 64MP sensor has 26mm (wide), 1/1.7", 0.8µm, and PDAF, while the ultra-wide sensor f/2.2aperture, 13mm (wide), 1.12µm pixels. In the camera app, there are many options such as Pro, Live Focus, Photo, Video, and Super Slow motion.
The More option in the Camera app provides many options for photography such as Pro, Panorama, Macro, Food, Night, Super Slow-mo, Slow Motion, and Bixby vision. Tap on the Camera settings, and you'll get Scene Optimizer, Hold Status Button too, Save Options, Rear Video Size, Front Video Size, High-efficiency video, HDR, Grid Lines, Location tags, Camera modes, shooting methods, Quick launch, and Watermark. In the Pro Mode, you can choose ISO (in the 100-800 range), exposure compensation (-2/+2EV in 0.1EV steps), and white balance. The captured images by A71 are very amazing and beautiful with Dynamic range and best color accuracy. The Portrait mode is also providing good images with natural skin tones at blur background.
On the other hand, the ultra-wide sensor has also captured beautiful images, but it can't provide many details in night time. The portrait camera can capture shots as close as 4cm. The Samsung Galaxy A71 records 4k videos at 30fps while Full HD videos at 30 and 240fps. It can also record slow-motion videos at 960fps.
Front Camera
The centered punch-hole brings a 32MP immersive camera for taking selfies and live video recording. The front-facing, 32MP snapper has f/2.2 aperture, 26mm (wide), 1/2.8", and 0.8µm pixels and produces high-quality shots with better color accuracy and dynamic range. It can record Full HD videos at 30fps. The HDR, Panorama, and Portrait modes are also available in this phone for best selfie experience.
