Redmi K30 Ultra goes official with Dimensity 1000+ SoC and 120Hz display

Today (11-August), alongside the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, the company has also unveiled Redmi K30 Ultra. So now, there are five phones under the K30 series – Redmi K30 4G, K30 5G, K30i 5G, K30 Pro, and K30 Ultra. Unlike all other phones under this series, the K30 Ultra comes with a MediaTek Chipset, the Dimensity 1000+. This is the most powerful SoC from MediaTek right now, so the K30 Ultra is also a flagship phone. Redmi K30 Ultra price for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is CNY 1999. The phone also comes in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 512GB variants priced at CNY 2,199 and CNY 2,499, respectively. Official sales in China will start on August 14.

The design remains exactly the same as the K30 Pro. So, there is a full-screen on the front and a pop-up selfie camera on the top. On the rear, there is a circular camera module housing four sensors. The fingerprint scanner is placed under the display for authentication. The phone has a 6.77-inch Samsung’s E3 Super AMOLED panel with Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset which is based on the 7nm manufacturing process and comes with a powerful 9-core Mali-G77 GPU. Redmi K30 Ultra has 6/8GB RAM and 128/256/512GB storage. For photography experience, it has a quad rear camera setup which includes a primary 64 megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 118-degree FOV, a 5-megapixel telephoto macro camera and finally a Depth Sensor. On the front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie camera. Some other best features of the Redmi K30 Ultra include Stereo Speakers, Linear Motor, Dual 5G, Audio Zoom, Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and rear, Dual GPS, NFC, Splash-proof coating, IR Blaster and a Large VC Heat Sink for better cooling. Xiaomi Redmi K30 Ultra draws power from the 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging. Unfortunately, there is no support for Wireless Charging.
