The Realme Watch is now official and has launched in India at a very affordable price of $52 (Rs 3,999). The smartwatch comes with touchscreen support and has a color display with a 2.5D curved glass. The Realme Watch has a total of 12 preloaded watch faces initially, though Realme is set to offer over 100 watch faces through an over-the-air (OTA) update at a later stage. The smartwatch also has heart rate monitoring through a dedicated photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor and as many as 14 sports modes.
The smartwatch comes with a 1.4-inch Touchscreen display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top, 320 x 320 pixels screen resolution, 323 PPI pixel density, and 380 nits brightness. It comes with 24/7 Health Assistant, which includes real-time heart rate monitor, blood oxygen level monitor (SpO2), and 14 sports modes. The sports modes include Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Bike, Spinning, Elliptical, Yoga, Cricket, Running, Walking, Treadmill, Badminton, Aerobic Capacity, and Fitness. There’s also Step Tracker, Idle Alert, Meditation, Water Drinking Reminder, and Sleep Monitor. This watch can be connected to the smartphones using Realme Link app which will enable calls and message notifications as well as smart notifications from several other third-party applications. The device is IP68 rated, making it water and dust resistant. The Realme Watch has Bluetooth v5.0 on the connectivity part and can work with any smartphone that runs Android 5.0 Lollipop or above. The smartwatch has a 160mAh battery that is claimed to deliver seven days of usage when the heart rate monitor is enabled.
