A new Oppo phone with 48MP primary sensor and 8GB RAM certified by TENAA

A mysterious OPPO smartphone with model number PEAM00 / PEAT00 has received certification from the TENAA regulatory body of China. The device has also received approval from the 3C authority of the country. These listings suggest that the handset will go official as early as this month. There is a possibility that it could be placed in the A-series.

The OPPO PEAM00 / PEAT00 phone will measure 160.5 x 73.9mm. It is a slim and lightweight 5G phone as it measures 7.85mm in thickness and weighs 169 grams. It will have an AMOLED display of 6.43 inches. The display seems to feature a punch-hole at its top-left corner. The Full HD+ resolution supporting screen will deliver a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen is integrated with a fingerprint sensor for authentication. The smartphone will draw power from a 2.0GHz octa-core processor. The phone is likely to come with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. The handset is said to be preloaded with Android 10 OS. The OPPO PEAM00 / PEAT00 may have a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel. The backside of the phone will sport a square-shaped camera module placed at the top-left corner. It comprises three cameras such as a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel secondary shooter, and the third camera of 2-megapixel. The phone will come with the support of 4K resolution. The battery capacity listed is 2,100mAh, meaning it could be a dual-cell battery with a combined capacity of 4,200mAh. China’s 3C certification revealed it’ll ship with 65W fast charger in the box.
