Last time around, OPPO partnered with Gundam franchise for the release of the OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition which was quickly sold out during the first few rounds of sale. This year, OPPO has picked Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise as their partner for the release of the highly anticipated OPPO Ace2 Eva Limited Edition which has been made official today.
The Oppo Ace2 EVA Limited Edition is basically identical to the original Ace2, but with a unique aesthetical design based around the anime. It has the iconic color scheme of the series’ EVA with a purple primary on top of which angular green stripes and branding are etched. This design is also mirrored in the protective case that is also offered alongside the handset. Notably, the box in which the smartphone arrives is also in the form of a white capsule. Alongside the smartphone, the Chinese tech giant is also offering a bunch of other limited edition accessories. This includes an Enco W31 TWS earbuds, Oppo Air VOOC wireless charger, Oppo Watch, and a new Band as well. These products also feature unique aesthetics based around the show. The Oppo Ace2 EVA Limited Edition is priced at 4,399 Yuan (roughly $614).
