The Honor Play 5 will be unveiled at 7:30 PM (local time) on May 18. The device can be seen in the official poster, featuring a tall aspect ratio display with a water-drop notch. The phone’s left edge will have a SIM card slot, whereas its right spine has a volume controller and a power key. The absence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner suggests that it could be featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor. The rear shell of the Play 5 will have a squarish camera island, which houses four cameras and an LED flash unit at the center.

According to the leaked information, the device will have a 6.53-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. The device’s quad-camera setup will feature a 64MP primary sensor. The Honor Play 5 will pack a relatively small 3,800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
