Samsung Galaxy S11 will have a 120Hz refresh rate

Every year the phones offer some upgrade in crucial features like display, battery, RAM and ROM, etc. In 2017, the Razer Phone had launched with a 120HZ refresh rate display, and recently phones from GoogleOnePlus, and Oppo has adopted 90Hz displays.

Today (21-November), the popular tweet leaker Ice universe aka UniverseIce has shared a post and said that my Note 9 offers three options; “Turn off the high refresh rate mode and keep 60Hz, Turn on the high refresh rate mode and keep 120Hz and Turn on the high refresh rate mode, and switch automatically between 60Hz and 120Hz after the update”. He also said that “unfortunately, turning to 120Hz on the Note 9 makes no difference, since that phone's hardware isn't capable of the switch”. But it suggests that the next Galaxy S11 will have a 120Hz refresh rate display and provide a smooth experience. A few days ago, many reports said: Samsung will use SAMOLED for Galaxy S11 family.” Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S11 will run Android 10 OS customized with One UI 2 Samsung’ layer, and it will come with Qualcomm’s next high-end Snapdragon 865 Chipset (for the US and China) or Exynos 9830 SoC (for globally).
