Vivo X50, X50 Pro and X50 Pro+ with punch-hole display and quad cameras launched

Vivo X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+ have been unveiled in China with premium designs and powerful specifications. While the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro are mid-range 5G phones, the Vivo X50 Pro+ is a flagship smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. The Vivo X50 series touts a number of unique features with the most notable one being the gimbal camera technology for exceptionally stable photo and video capturing. All three phones feature AI quad cameras, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and high refresh rate displays.

Vivo X50 and X50 Pro

Both Vivo X50 and X50 Pro come with a 6.56-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout and 90Hz refresh rate. The Pro model supports HDR10+. The phones are powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB storage options. They ship Android 10-based Funtouch OS. As for the cameras, the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro feature an AI quad-camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor, a 13MP Samsung S5K3L6 lens, an 8MP OmniVision OV08A10 telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel Hynix Hi846 ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, it has a 32MP Samsung GD1 sensor for selfies and video chats. The Vivo X50 phones feature a gimbal system for image and video stabilization. The phones also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and AK4377a Hi-Fi audio chip. While the Vivo X50 packs a 4,200mAh battery, the X50 Pro houses a 4,315mAh unit and both phones support 33W fast-charging.

Vivo X50 Pro+

The Vivo X50 Pro+ comes with a premium faux leather finish on the back. It features the same 6.56-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display upfront with a punch-hole cutout. The display supports HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phones run Android 10 with Funtouch OS on top. It houses a 4,315mAh battery and supports a faster 44W wired charging. The Vivo X50 Pro+ comes with a more powerful quad-camera setup that includes a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 60x hybrid zoom, a 13MP wide-angle lens, and an 8MP macro lens. Upfront, the phone gets a 32MP sensor for selfies. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and AK4377a Hi-Fi audio chip.
