Huawei’s sub-brand is said to launch its new Honor 30 series at the end of this month. Alongside the Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro flagship smartphones, the lineup will include other devices too. The Honor 30S name recently appeared in a marketing campaign, which suggests it will come as a successor for the Kirin 810 powered Honor 20S phone that was announced last year. However, the Honor 30S could be an upper mid-range smartphone. A reliable Chinese tipster has revealed some details about the Honor 30S and also published a render that showcases the rear design. According to the leakster, the Honor 30S will be unveiled at the end of this month.

The tipster Changan Digital King stated that “Honor 30S may be one of the most variable products in the mobile phone industry in the near future, which deserves the high attention and vigilance of competitors. It is expected that the release time will be at the end of this month, after the Huawei P40 series conference.” The leaked render reveals that the Honor 30S to come with a butterfly-patterned rear design similar to the predecessor model. The volume buttons are on its right edge, and it appears to be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint which seems to be integrated in the power button. The Honor 20S has a vertical module that housed three cameras and an LED flash. The leaked render of the successor (Honor 30S) model shows that it is equipped with a rectangle-shaped camera module. The larger camera module could be housing as many as four lenses and an LED flash.
