In the last quarter of 2019, Realme had unveiled the Realme X2 and Realme X2 Pro smartphones. A recent sighting of a new Realme phone named Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition along with model number RMX2086 at Thailand’s NBTC regulatory body suggests that the company could be working on the launch of Realme X3 series. The Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition seems to be equipped with an advanced camera module with high zoom capabilities. The RMX2086 phone has also surfaced on the BIS certification platform of India, EEC authority in Russia, and the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing further details about the upcoming smartphone.

According to the Geekbench listing, the RMX2086 has a Qualcomm octa-core processor that is mentioned with its ‘msmnile’ codename. The CPU architecture and the codename suggest that the phone is driven by the Snapdragon 855 or Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. The benchmark performance score of 788 points during single-core and 2,624 points on multi-core testing further hints at the Snapdragon 855. The Geekbench listing has also revealed that the phone offers up to 12GB of RAM and runs Android 10. According to the NBTC listing, the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition supports WCDMA, GSM, and LTE networks. There is no mention of 5G capabilities at the moment. The lack of 5G connectivity means that the device is not powered by 5G-enabled chipsets like the Snapdragon 865, 765G, or the MediaTek Dimnensity 1000.
