Upcoming Nokia Devices Spotted on Geekbench Hinted Specifications

Nokia is returning to smartphone world probably at the end of the year. In May Nokia signed an agreement with Finnish manufacturer HMD Global. The company will craft Nokia smartphones and tablet for next 10 years.

Earlier two Nokia devices have made their way to the internet and now both smartphones have spotted to Geekbench and reveal some details regarding specifications. On Geekbench one smartphone is named as Nokia 5320 and it appears to run very old Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor and has a 2GB of RAM.


The second smartphone is named Nokia RM 1490, it seems to be powered by 500MHz AMD A8-5545M processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The Nokia RM 1490 will run even older Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The specifications of both devices are contradictory to previous leaks. Past leaks suggest that Nokia will launch two high-end devices and both smartphones will have exclusive features.


However, latest specifications are not spectacular, so the news can turn off Nokia fans that are eagerly waiting for new Nokia devices. If the company wants to stand against other Android smartphone makers it has to do something unique or at least as per customers latest demand. There are speculations that these specifications are test run and final sheet will be entirely different, so we have to wait till ultimate pane leaks.


Preceding renders suggest that the two Nokia devices will pack 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch screens with 2K resolution (QHD). . Both will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and will run Z-Launcher System UI based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. Both smartphones will be water and dust resistant because they are rumored to come with IP68 certification.
