Rumors mills are busy in producing the news about the upcoming Oppo R7 which is the slimmest handset of the company but some news are seems genuine and authenticated. Recently Oppo confirmed the official release date of Oppo R7. According to the company the smartphone will be released in third week of May and the expected date is 20th May.
Oppo R7 is the successor of previously announced oppo R5 and it is assumed that Oppo R7 is slimmer than Oppo R5 which was the ultra slim smartphone measuring 4.85 mm thin. According to the leaked information the Oppo R7 is featured with 4.7 display, 1080 pixels resolution and protected with fingerprint scanner. Oppo placed 64 bit Octa core mediatek MT 6795 process and 20.7 mp rear camera. The Oppo R7 is powered with 2000 mAH battery.
Oppo R5 was available globally in prices of $499. It is expected that the Oppo R7 might have the same price but it is still a guess only. It is also speculated that Oppo might launch a larger version of the handset with the powerful battery of Oppo R7+ but there is no information available about the plus version of smartphone of Oppo.
