SONY XPERIA C3 & C3 Dual, let us see what the handset has

Introduction

 Sony is the name of trust. The company is equally good in the making of electronics as well as in the smartphone/ tablet manufacturing. Previously Sony designed and launched the series named “Xperia”, and time to time Sony adds the members in this family. Now Sony designed 1 new member for this family named “Xperia C3”. Xperia C3 is available in two versions one version has a single SIM option and the other variant supports dual SIM. There is no difference of specifications between them. The both versions have the same specifications and equally good in working. Before this, Sony launched the versions named “Xperia Z1” and “Xperia Z1 Compact”. Sony prefers to make and launch the ‘Compact’ version rather than the ‘Mini’. Let’s have a look what the new member Xperia C3 has in detail.

Specifications

Design and Display

Most of the Xperia sets are thin and slim and light in weight. This new handset is of equally ideal measure. The dimensions measure 156.2 x 78.7 x 7.6 mm means the handset is not having a thick body. The handset weighs 149.7 grams only. This is the balanced weight because of the dimensions and the size of the handset. Users can easily carry the handset without any problem. The handset has an IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. The screen size of Xperia C3 is 5.5 inches with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The resolutions give the bright and sharp look to the screen and display is good equally in dim light as well as is in the shade.

Software and User interface

The handset runs the Android operating system by default. It occupies the version of Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) which is the second last version of Android. Maybe the handset would receive updates of the operating system later but we cannot say anything before time. This is one of the easiest operating systems and consumes less power for running the applications and keeps the handset on for working and increases the backup time of the device because of the less consumption of power. The users are able to use this operating system without facing any trouble. Downloading and running the required applications in this operating system is easy. The interface is designed well and in a very good manner.

Processor and Memory

 The company tries to combine the good hardware in one device named Xperia C3 and in Xperia C3 Dual. The both handsets are equipped with 1.2 GHz Dual Core Cortex-A7 processor. The company makes the processor combination with Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 chipset for the efficient working. For proper graphic interface handset is embedded with Adreno 305. This is one of the powerful GPU for better graphics interface. 1GB RAM with 8 GB On Board memory offered by the company. The Ram capacity is well enough to keep the handset properly working. Users can download the files and things as they required. The on board memory can be extended externally up to 32 GB. Users can save their data in the external memory also. We can say this is the small and compactable data storage in the hand of the users.

Camera

Camera is one of the basic components in any smartphone. The Xperia C3 has an 8 mega pixel rear camera with 3264x2448 pixels density. This is enough density for the fine images and users can get the good experience while using the camera with this resolution density. The rear camera has two additional features like autofocus and LED flash. Auto focus feature helps the users to set the capturing object position automatically and it is easy to use. Users feel a bit irritation if they are using the focused feature manually because if they want to get the image of moving object they face the focusing problem because of the constant movement of the object with LED flash light users can take  the good image in cloudy or darker environment equally good in bright light.  

Battery

Battery is the component which helps the handset keep on and put the handset in the working condition. If the battery is powerful the handset works very well. Xperia C3 and Xperia C3 dual both are equipped with Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery which gives the stand by time 1040 hours in2G and up to 960 hours in 3G network and provides talk time up to 11 hours in 2G and up to 25 hours in 3G network. Stand by time is good and keeps the handset on till long time and the talk time is also well and chatty persons will like the time which the handset battery provides. The battery is removable and easy to replace. If any thing wrong happen to the battery users don’t need to replace the whole handset. They just simply peel the back cover of the handset and replace the old battery with the new one.

Color, price and release date

 The handset is available in three bright color white, black and mint. The handset looks pretty good in all three colors. The release date and the price of the handset are still not known but, it is expected the handset will hit the markets soon and it is also expected that the handset would not be sold in the higher price.
