Recently Lenovo announced their upcoming flagship with QHD display in Mobile Asia Expo China. Now we hear the bell from another member from the other smartphone family, the Alcatel family. Alcatel follows the steps of LG and Oppo and plans to reveal the handset with QHD display. The handset makes the appearance with the name “Alcatel One Touch D820” in Mobile Asia Expo China.
The upcoming handset Alcatel One Touch D820 comes with 4.6 inches display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolutions. The handset is small in size but surprisingly the gives more pixel density. The handset runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
Alcatel One Touch D820 features 3GM RAM, and 12 GB of ROM and it is expected that the handset has a 16 GB in built memory. The processor and the chipset still under the shade but we saw a clear shadow that the MediaTek's upcoming MT6595 chipset is placed in the handset. Alcatel One Touch D820 has a dual camera. The rear and the front facing cameras are both 7 mega pixels.
We still do not have enough words from the company for this new member but hopefully we see the handset in IFA tech show to be held in Berlin later this year.
