Huawei Mate 9 with Kirin 960 could come in Fourth Quarter of the Year

As per Pan Jiutang analyst, the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 could released in fourth quarter of the year. The analyst says that the phone could be powered by a new Huawei made chipset Kirin 960. The will be developed by using 16nm technology. It is an advanced technology that is used to make the chips.

 

The ARM's next generation Artemis cores will be used in the CPU and SoC will be packed with an octa-core GPU. The Kirin 960 chipset will support LTE Cat.12 connectivity and CDMA networks as well. Recently the company launched Huawei P9 which posses dual camera setup. It has a 12MP rear camera with f/2.2, 27 mm, Leica optics, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED features. The other camera is 8MP with f/2.4, 1080p resolution, the selfie snapper gives more accurate lightening pictures in low light, it also captures white and black pictures.

 

The Huawei P9 was lauched with OIS in the start of the month. According to Jiutang,the Mate 9 smartphone will also own a dual camera set up, but those cameras will come with 20MP sensors. As for other specification concern is, we don’t have any idea at the moment, the specifications of the device will be exposed by time.  Some rumors say that the Huawei Mate 9 will be launched in 2017 but let’s see what happens next. The company says that it will launch a flagship smartphone for United States later this year. So we expect that it would be Huawei P9 or Huawei Mate, so exact device name is not clear yet. A few days ago Huawei CEO said that Huawei will use QHD display in its upcoming mobile so can we expect that Mate 9 will feature QHD display? Well the fact is not known yet.
