LG Watch Urbane LTE will release this week in Korea with $590 price tag

LG is the first announced world’s first LTE connected wearable last month. The gadget called LG Watch Urbane LTE.

Now the smartwatch is ready to ship for the consumers live in South Korea which is the home land of the giant. Company sets Friday as a launch day of this smartwatch and the date is 27th March 2015 at the price of $590 which is equallent in 650,000 KRW. There is no doubt that the smartwatch is the costliest watch even more than Apple Watch which starts from $349.

What is the reason behind the cost? The reason is that this is the first LTE smartwatch and the 2nd big reason is the smartwatch supports the SIM card and users of this wearable are able to make calls. The smartwatch is also able to pair with Smartphone with the help of Bluetooth as long as the smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat or later. The smartwatch is not the Android wearable and used LG proprietary wearable platform probably based on Web OS.

The G Watch Urbane LTE is made up with the stainless steel and has 1.3 inches P-OLED display which is round in shape and has 320x320 pixels resolution. The smartwatch has 1 GB RAM and quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU and energized by 700mAh battery. Besides these features the G Watch Urbane LTE is IP67 certified means the smartwatch is water and dust proof.LG-Watch-Urbane-LTE

Still LG did not deliver words when the smartwatch will release in other regions, but it is only expected that after the home land the smartwatch move to the other countries as well at what price we can not say anything before time.
