Microsoft announced their high-end Lumia 950 XL in New York City. The handset is featured with 5.7 inches OLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and the screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 4. The Lumia 950 XL is featured with Octa core processor paired with Snapdragon 810 chipset.
Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory which can be expandable externally. As usual the handset is Windows Phone and runs Windows 10. The Lumia 950 XL is packed with 20 MP rear camera with autofocus and ZEISS optic which is the 5th generation of Optical image stabilization and triple LED and has 5 Megapixel front facing cameras. The Lumia 950XL is also available in dual sim version.
The handset measures 151.9 x 78.4 x 8.1 mm by dimension and has 165 grams of weight. The Lumia 950 XL is energized with 3340 removable battery with the rapid charging feature which is able to charge 50% handset battery in 30 minutes and it is also able to charge handset wirelessly. The special liquid cooling technology keep the handset cool even after long usage. The other features of Lumia 950XL are 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C.
Both single sim and Dual sim version of the handset will be available in first week of November at the price of $649.
