Report: Watch Xiaomi Mi 5 live stream Event Begins on February 24th

Xiaomi a fast emerging Chinese company and leading company in Asia will officially release its upcoming flagship Xiaomi Mi 5 on February 24th, 2016. The universal event held in New York, Barcelona and New Delhi. The announcement of the device will be streamed live on YouTube and you can also see what the company has reserved for Xiaomi fans.

 

As per rumors, Xiaomi Mi 5 will feature a 5.5 inch display and it will be powered by Snapdragon 820, which is the latest chipset by Qualcomm. Other specifications include 4GB RAM with 16GB as well as 64GB internal memory options. The Xiaomi Mi 5 will have a 16MP primary camera, and an 8MP front camera for capturing a selfie. To keep the device on, 3,600mAh battery will come along, and a fingerprint scanner is also entrenched on the front side of the mobile.


The company promised that Xiaomi Mi 5 will be best mobile and it will hold advanced features as compare to its predecessors. Rumors and leaks also say that the mobile will come in two variants. Both variants will carry a different price tag according to specifications. One model will come with one will have CNY 1,999 price tag and the other will carry CNY 2,499 price tag.


The event will start on Friday so you could see the live stream on YouTube. Unluckily, it is vague yet whether the smartphone will be available in the Europe or United States. Until now the company has sold its smartphones in Asia only.
