Before the IFA we heard about Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Gear S and Galaxy Alpha expected appearance during IFA and Samsung did the same. They introduced both devices Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Gear S with addition of Galaxy Note Edge. But the Samsung did not pause there they announced their one more device today. The announced device is known as Galaxy Tab Active.
Galaxy Tab Active is the new member of Galaxy series and this is the very first tablet of Samsung that has water and dust proof ability. The tablet is IP56 certified. There are already many tablets avaiable in the markets such as Sony Xperia, but Samsung made this device not for common users. The device exclusively designed for business men. That does not mean common users are unable to buy this tablet. The Galaxy Tab Active has a craggy look like Galaxy S5 Active. The tablet is protected with anti shock covering and can sustain a fall from 1.2 meters and still remain safe. Yet this is not the best or the prettiest tablet.
This is the trendy tablet so the tablet runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The tablet has 8 inches TFT display and provides 800 x 1200 pixels resolution. The tablet carries 393 grams weight and measures 213.1 x 126.2 x 9.75 mm dimensions. The tablet comes with C-Pen, Samsung KNOX. The Galaxy Active is equipped with 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor along with 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB on board memory. The on board memory can be extended via microSD card. The tablet is powered with 4450 removable battery.
Still we don’t know when this business tablet hits the markets and what is the cost of this tablet but hope fully it will give good boost to the company.
