Samsung Galaxy Alpha will be available in some specific regions on 12th September and the retailers are keenly waiting to show this handset on their shelves, but Canadian users need to wait a bit because the handset will be available in Canada from 26th September.
Samsung Canada officially confirmed that the Galaxy Alpha will be available in Canada on 26th September via Bell and Virgin Mobile for now these two carriers offer the handset and after them the other Canadian carriers will also offer the handset later. Bell starts taking the pre order for this news handset and they are asking 149.95 Canadian dollars per month for the users on contract base and offer the handset at 699.95 CAD which is almost $638 without contract.
This is the slimmest handset ever and only has 6.7mm thin bezels. This is the premium handset from Samsung comes in metal body with rectangle edges. The handset has a 4.7 inches display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The handset is embedded with octa-core Exynos 5 5430 processor. Company placed 2 GB RAM and 32 GB on board memory inside the handset. The handset has 12 mega pixel rear camera and also has smart finger print scanner.
Some USA carriers will also offer the handset soon. The carriers name is still not known but it is expected that AT&T and T-Mobile may be the first to offer the handset but there is nothing confirmed officially. We have to wait for the official confirmation.
