As we already know that back in March Samsung introduced the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 2016 editions in China. Last month the Galaxy J7 was available for purchase in Europe as well. At the time of announcement the firm didn’t reveal pricing information of the smartphone. Now the Korean Giant officially launched the Galaxy J5(2016) and Galaxy J7(2016) mobiles in South Korea.
Both device Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) are available to buy Via KT Corporation in the home country. The former comes with KRW 290,000 or $254 price tag while the second one is available for KRW 363,000 (approximately $318). Both smartphone are embraced in metal body. The Galaxy J5 (2015) and Galaxy J7 (2015) are predecessors to the newly launched J-series.
Unluckily, there is no official information about the release date of the novel Galaxy J-series in other markets. On both smartphones you will find a 13MP rear camera with with f1.9 aperture and LED flash and there is a 5 MP camera as well which also comes with f1.9 aperture. Both devices support 4G (LTE Cat. 4) and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) it features a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz allianced with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of native storage which can be enhanced up to 128GB via microSD card. The Galaxy J5 (2016) own a 3100mAh battery.
Coming to the Galaxy J7 (2016) specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with her 720x1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. The smartphone has a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage which is additionally stretchable via microSD card (up to 128GB). The mobile possess a 3300mAh battery.
