The Galaxy S7 was launched at MWC 2016 now rumors are spinning on the internet about upcoming Galaxy S8, the device will probably be launched in March 2017. As per leaks the company has filled patents for round home button so the Galaxy S8 could come with iPhone Style home button. The smartphone will come with a fast fingerprint scanner which will be embedded on the home button.
Another patent picture shows that fingerprint scanner would be used on the back top of the phone and the camera module would be shifted on the side of the smartphone. Some rumors suggest that the device will come with a major redesign, what changes will the company introduce it is indistinguishable yet. However, we expect to see the smartphone with noticeable changes because Galaxy S7 resembles to 2014 model Galaxy S6.
The smartphone could hold the Turbo Speed Technology (TST) feature which claims to load apps 40 percent with twice the RAM. The Galaxy S8 could borrow Smart Glow LED around its main camera from Galaxy J2 2016. The LED lights up in blue, red, and green to notify you for the calls, massages, and other notifications.
The Galaxy S8 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 or by Samsung own latest chip. The current flagship runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow so it’s confirmed that upcoming flagship will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The OS comes with numerous advanced features that will make the device exclusive. The Galaxy S7 has 32/64 GB native storage with 4 GB RAM so the upcoming model will house 6GB of RAM with 32/64GB native storage.
The 2016 flagship equips 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, therefore the 2017 model could have 16MP main camera and 8MP front shooter, and obviously the camera quality will be improved as compared to the current flagship. The Galaxy S7 comes with a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery accordingly the Galaxy S8 could get power through a 3500 mAh battery. Just like present flagship upcoming device also would be water resistant.
