Samsung the Asian giant is already present in IFA 2015 Berlin and have launched their first Tizen operating system based smartwatch Samsung Gear S2 compatible with other smartphones or non-Samsung phones. The watch is able to work with other Android phones that have 1.5 GB RAM. Besides the other Android Phones, the Samsung Gear S2 is also able to work with iPhones.
The craze of smartwatches is getting common in the users but still the market of smartphones is large and not easy to overcome in the competition. The manufacturer tries to make the devices which can attract the users towards them and for this manufacturers need to consider every point minutely. The previous models of Samsung smartwatches like Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear 2 Neo are the wearables that only work with the Samsung phones.
But this is not the limit for the giants like Samsung and the company set the new milestone for themselves and for the other manufacturers and opened the new platform for technology. However, the example is not new but it needs to be more refined. Some smartwatches such as Pebble wearables support iOS. Android and Google newly added some limited iOS features in Android Wearables which can notify the Android wearable users from the iPhone notifications.
In this platform, Apple is still not present and the company doesn't have the plan to add Android support to their iOS smart watches, may be later the company also provides the Android support to their wearables. Rumor afloat tell that Apple will launch their first Android App this year. Microsoft also offers a number of apps for Android and iOS. BlackBerry also has the plan to launch some Android Phones soon.
The Samsung Gear S2 is still in the improvement process and there is no confirm date when the wearable well really be able to support the iOS but the company only confirmed that developers are busy to add some iPhones supportive features in the smartwatch.
