As we already know that Sony did not follow the trend of mini and instead will launch the compact versions of their giants. It is expected that Sony will add new device on their upcoming handsets schedule and the flagship is known as “Xperia Z3”. This is the latest version of Z2 and it’s more handy and faster in working than Xperia Z2. As per rumors say Sony is also working on a “Compact” version of Z3 and regarding this version some information is already floating on the internet.
Now few hours back Sony Xperia Z3 Compact made the first appearance in FCC. The database of the FCC is updated and we found two versions of the same devices listed as IDs PM-0810 and PM-0812. The specifications are the same but there is a little difference between them; one version supports LTE connectivity. Xperia Z3 Compact which has PM-0810 supports LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 13, and 17. It means this is the international version of Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, whereas the PM-0812 has only LTE bands 5 and 7 facilitated, means this is the version specially designed for the carriers. But one thing is confirmed both versions support GSM/WCDMA/LTE connectivity, as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, ANT+ and NFC.
Still the hardware configuration is not mentioned anywhere in FCC but we have some clues of the handset measurements. The handset measures 127mm by 64.9 mm by dimensions and the display oblique size measures 4.57 inches. There is one more thing mentioned in the papers that the handset carries non removable battery.
It is strongly expected that the both version of Xperia Z3 make the public appearance on 3rd September during the IFA expo which is held in Berlin. There is no other information available till yet but it is expected that the more information about the handset will be revealed soon before the public.
