VAIO Announces Windows 10 powered Phone Biz with 3GB RAM

VAIO is a Sony brand which deals in laptops, computers and tablets. A year ago, VAIO released its first smartphone Foray. Now the company has launched its second smartphone name Phone Biz. The mobile phone is powered by Windows 10 and its target market is business executives.

Let’s stalk on specification section, the device features a 5.5 inch full HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 617 SoC with the octa-core processor. It has a 3GB RAM, and 16GB internal memory which is expandable via MicroSD card. In the camera department, the phone Biz comes with a 13MP rare camera and 5MP front camera. To keep the lights on 2800 mAh battery is used.

Mostly smartphone makers are using latest Snapdragon 820 chip in their handsets, but the VAIO’s handset will come with Snapdragon 617 which could annoy many Android users. Might be the company has reserved some new features which will cover the need of latest chip. When it comes to the design and look the mobile got a smooth and glossy look with shiny glass on the front side and aluminum on the back side. The device will be sold unlocked and it supports NTT Docomo’s LTE network in Japan with speed up to 225mbps.


Phone Biz is mid-range handset which is going to launch in Japan with $430/ 50,000 Yen price tag. The device will be available in the next month. Currently, it is vague whether the device will land outside of the Asian country or not.
