Vivo launched Vivo X5 Max mobile back in 2014 and broke all records by sharing slimmest smartphone ever. The device was 4.75mm thick, now Vivo has again set standard for other mobile makers by releasing Vivo Xplay5 Elite which is a world's first smartphone with 6GB of RAM. The company also launched inexpensive version of the mobile- Vivo Xplay5 which packs 4GB of RAM. The Vivo Xplay5 Elite and its variant were unveiled at the same event in China.
The dual-SIM Vivo Xplay5 Elite feature a dual curved 5.43-inch Super Amoled display with QHD (1440x2560 pixels) resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm's SD 820 SoC, 2.15GHz, matching with 6GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The device is made with metal and Gorilla Glass 4, the body makes the smartphone more adorable. The mobile supports ambient light, gravity, gyroscope and many other sensors. It has a 16 MP rear camera with Sony ImX298 sensor, dual LED tone, and various other features, a 8 MP secondary camera is also on the front side of the device. The mobile has a fingerprint sensor at the back side and it is powered with a 3600 mAh battery.
The Vivo Xplay5 Elite runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Funtouch OS 2.6 skin on top. The mobile will be available in the market on 8th March and it will come with CNY 4,288 price tag.
Vivo X Play 5
The Vivo XPlay 5 features same dual curved QHD display and powered with a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC 1.8GHz, clubbed with 4GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with its Funtouch OS 2.5.1. The Vivo XPlay 5 will carry a CNY 3,698 price tag which is lower than the Vivo Xplay5 Elite price, obviously masterpiece is deepen in specifications. There is no official information when both smartphones will be available outside of China.
