A few days before Xiaomi publicized that they shipped more than 25 million smartphones in the first quarter of 2014. Now there is another milestone; Xiaomi sells more than 11 million smartphone pieces of the Mi3 handset. The handset was first released in China.
Xiaomi reached towards the success, after this big accomplishment Xiaomi would launch the sparkling wine Gold version of Mi3. The handset is already available in many Asian markets, but this celebration edition is only available in China now.
Mi3 is one of the high range handsets. Though, the handset is considerably less expensive as compared to the other company’s handsets. The unlocked version of this handset is available in $300. Even with the low price Mi3 has a lot to offer. The handset runs Android Jelly Bean operating system with Xiaomi’s own designed MIUI interface. The handset has a 5 inch display with 1080 pixels resolution. The handset is equipped with quad core snapdragon processor. 2GB RAM offered by the company. The handset has a 13 mega pixel rear camera and is energized with 3050 mAh battery.
Xiaomi has a plan to announce the descendant of Mi3. The handset might be called Mi3S. The company has a plan to ship more than 5 million handsets in this current year. Well we have to wait and see how the things are going but we must confess one thing that the Xiaomi runs towards the success very fast. Xiaomi has a plan to enter in European and South American markets in this year as well.
