Nokia X2 the successor has 4.3 inches IPS LCD display with 480 x 800 pixels resolutions. The successor has a large display than the predecessor but the resolutions are same. In the account of weight Nokia X2 is heavier than the Nokia X. Nokia X2 weighs 150 grams and Nokia X has a 128.7 grams weight. Nokia X2 has a large display according to that the weight of the handset is ok and users do not feel heaviness while caryysing the handset in hand.

Software and User Interface

The both handset run different versions of Android operating system. Nokia X run Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) which is the earlier version and Nokia X2 runs Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean). Both handsets provide the easy and understandable users interface to the users and anyone can enjoy the features of the handsets without having any hassle. This is the light weight operating system and consumes low power for running the applications so the handsets perform well and users will not face the hanging problem.

 Processor and Memory

Processor is the heart of any handset. Nokia X has a Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor with Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon S4 Play and Adreno 203. The processor is well enough for this type of low range handset. 512MB RAM with 4 GB in built memory offered by the company which can be extended up to 32GB with the help of external memory card. The users can save their data in the memory card but unfortunately they are unable to run the large games files and cannot perform multiple tasks at the same time because of low memory of handset. If users try to run the large number of file, they have to face the slow performance of the handset which irritates the users.

Nokia X2 comes with Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 with the combination of Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 chipset and Adreno 302 GPU. Company not only improved the processor they also replaced the chipset and GPU as well for better experience. The handset is powered with 1GB RAM with 4 GB on board memory which can be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card. The RAM is also increased in the new handset. Users can download and run large games file and perform other tasks as well to some extent.

The speed of processor and the storage capacity make the new handset much better than the previous one.

Camera

Users always required a smart camera features on their smart phones. Nokia X has a primary 3.15 mega pixel camera and there is no secondary camera found in the device. The primary camera has a 2048 x 1536 pixels density which is not so high but good for this type of low range handset. Nokia X2 has a 5 mega pixel primary camera as well as the front facing camera. The rear camera has a 2592 х 1944 pixels resolutions which is quite fine for the quality images the camera has an autofocus feature with this feature camera automatically adjusts the focus of the capturing object. Konia X2 camera has a LED flash also which helps the users to take the good image in the cloudy atmosphere as well as in the bright light.  Autofocus and LED flash feature is also missing in Nokia X.

Battery

Nokia X is a predecessor and energized with Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery (BN-01). The battery is removable and provides the stand by time up to 408 hours and talk time up to 13 hours 20 minutes in 2G and 10 hours 30 minutes in 3G network.

Nokia X 2 is powered with Li-Ion 1800 mAh battery (BV-5S), which gives the stand by up to 552 hours and talk time up to 10 hours in 2G and 13 hours in 3G networks. The new Nokia X2 has a more powerful battery then the Nokia X so it provides the more stand by and talk time to the users and users are able to enjoy the handset to their maximum extent. Both handsets have a removable battery. If anything happens to the battery users can easily replace the battery instead of whole handset.

Extra Feature

Nokia X2 has a standby dual SIM feature. Users can easily carry their both numbers without any problem.

Conclusion

The new Nokia X2 has many changes which give the better performance to the handset and users can enjoy the handset without facing any problem. The Nokia X 2 has a powerful processor, slightly bigger RAM, better camera features and a powerful battery with a bigger screen than the older one so users prefer to use Nokia X2 rather than the Nokia X. Hopefully this new handset will make the good business.
