OnePlus's next smartphone lineup is expected to include the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and the OnePlus 8 Lite, making it the first time the company is expected to announce a Lite model. Now, some of the specifications and the launch date of the upcoming smartphones have surfaced online. The OnePlus 8 Lite is said to feature a 90Hz display and a MediaTek processor. And, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are expected to be announced on April 14.
According to a report by 91Mobiles in collaboration with tipster Ishan Agarwal, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be launched on April 14. On the other hand, OnePlus 8 Lite is said to be coming in July. As for the specs, the trio of phones will have a Super AMOLED display and an under-display fingerprint sensor. OnePlus 8 and 8 pro are said to have a 120HZ refresh rate while the Lite variant is rumored to have a 90HZ refresh rate. Qualcomm snapdragon 865 Chipset will power the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphones and also support the dual-mode 5G network. The reports suggested that the OnePlus 8 Lite may have a 4,000 mAh battery and support for 30W fast charging. A trio of phones is expected to have a triple rear camera setup for photography experience.
