OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro appeared on TENNA with 5G support

OnePlus is reported to unveil its new flagship OnePlus 8 series in April. The OnePlus 8 recently spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing some of its key specifications. Now, ahead of the official launch, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have been certified by the Chinese telecoms regulatory agency (TENAA). According to the TENAA listing, the OnePlus 8 (model number OnePlus IN2010) and the OnePlus 8 Pro (model number OnePlus IN2020) are 5G-ready phones. In fact, the company has also recently confirmed that all OnePlus 8 series smartphones would support the 5G network.

The present TENAA listing doesn’t reveal details of the devices but is an indication that the flagship series will be launched soon. We expect more information as well as the images of the OnePlus 8 series to be listed soon. However, the OnePlus 8 series is expected to feature a Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset with up to 12GB RAM. There will likely be other RAM options. According to previous reports, OnePlus 8 will use a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a built-in fingerprint sensor. It is reported that the handset is equipped with three rear cameras, including a 48MP primary sensor, and the other two are 16MP and 2MP. The device will pack a 4000mAh battery and supports Warp Charge 30T charging technology. As for the OnePlus 8 Pro, it will have a slightly larger 6.65-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 SoC and an Adreno 650 GPU. There will be four cameras and an additional ToF sensor. The 4500mAh battery supports 10V 5A ultra-fast charging.
