The smartphone manufacturers are heading towards providing the smartphones with 6GB RAMs. To pursue the excellence in smartphones Samsung has declared that it would mass produce 12 GB LPDDR4 mobile DRAM based on its advanced 20-nanometer (nm) process technology
As per Samsung confirmation, the new LPDDR4 is going to enhance the efficiency of smartphones tremendously. They will be equipped with high capacity mobile DRAM and would bring maximum capacity and fastest speed for the DRAM chip with reliability and efficiency in consumption of better power.
With the production of 12 GB LPDDR4, the mobile phones manufacturers are going to adopt DRAM to make the mobile devices in the best manner and to push them into the next generation. Users will get much better and enhanced the experience by using the mobile devices with these new LPDDR4 RAMs.
The new 12GB version is 30 percent faster at 4266 MBPS. Samsung also claimed they save 20 percent energy and increase the speed of working. The 12Gb LPDDR4 enables 3GB or 6GB of mobile DRAM using two chips and four chips respectively adding 6 GB of RAM to future flagships that will give the excellent experience of multitasking and speed in general.
Samsung confirmed further that the new chip will not change the manufacturing design and can be easily placed in the place of 3GB RAM. According to the report published in SamMobile, the future Galaxy S7 might be featured with this 6GB RAM chip. Going a step further Samsung intense true use it other digital appliances like automotive devices and ultra-slim PCs in the future.
According to CEO, the Samsung is going to push the technology into the next generation with the introduction of mobile DRAM.
