Asus follow the trend and concentrate on their Android wearable device known as ZenWatch. The company participated in the IFA and introduced their wearable in the event; besides the wearable the company revealed some other devices like Memo Pad 7 a 64 bit tablet also. This was not the only tablet that was launched by Asus. Today the company introduced 8 inches tablet which operates Windows 8.1 operating system and has 64 bit Intel processor; yes we are talking about “Vivo Tab 8”.
The ViVo Tab 8 has the same 64 bit Intel Atom Z3745 quad core processor with 1.86 GHz speed which was already placed inside the Asus Memo Pad7. The RAM of the tablet is not confirmed because the tablet will be avaiable region wise but it is confirmed that the tablet will have 1 GB or 2 GB RAM and not more than that. The both RAM versions of the tablet will come with 32 GB in-built memory and the on board memory can be extended up to 64 GB via microSD card.
The tablet has 8 inches IPS LCD display having 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. The tablet has 2 mega pixel front and 2 mega pixel back camera. The tablet takes the energy from 3040 mAh battery placed inside the tablet which provides 8 hours back up time to the tablet and the most interesting thing is that the tablet has only 330 grams weight. Basically this is the successor of initially revealed tablet known as ViVo Tab Note. The tablet comes with stylus. The tablet is purely Windows based and it runs Windows 8.1 operating system. The tablet will be available in four colors; black, white, purple and gold.
