Since after the launch of Mi MIX 3 5G at MWC19, we have been hearing Xiaomi is working on an upgraded version. Even Back in May 2019, XDA Developers authenticated the report and further suggested the upcoming MIX smartphone will be codenamed with Hercules, and this will bring an SD855 SoC under the hood. At that moment, a Triple Rear Camera setup and some other convenient features such as In-Display FR, Wireless Charging and NFC were alleged to be available in forthcoming Xiaomi device.
Unfortunately, there was no one to reveal any identity that can hint us which smartphone is coming up next. But that’s behavior is no more, thanks to the Chinese regulatory. Recently, a Xiaomi 5G smartphone leaked through TENAA database with the model number M1908F1XE, which gives a path to the relative rumors and suggested us the upcoming Xiaomi handset to be Mi MIX 3s.
5G mobile phone is presently offered by Xiaomi’s Mi Mix series (MIX 3 5G), and according to the previous pattern, we concluded the company launches an ‘S’ suffix version after a standard such as MIX 2S an upgrade over MIX 2. Keeping the matrixes in front, it is calculated the TENAA-leaked device is MIX 3s.
Why it could not be Mi MIX 4? A question pops up in mind sometimes. The answer is the MIX 2s had launched with the model number M1803D5XE or in short M18*** and on the contrary side, the given model no. is M19*** which solidify it to be a successor, and after all the Mi MIX 3S is not yet released. Furthermore, some rumors are suggesting Xiaomi skip Mi Mix 4, though we didn’t confirm.
